I'm getting SO excited for this as it draws closer. Just gotta convince my roommate (who's also a fan!) to tag along. I definitely plan on sticking around afterward too.
I got lucky; I converted my room mate and she and her friend are going to be coming along with me. I might even make a shirt also. Unsure though.

Have fun at the NYC gig everyone. To see the Manics in New York must be one of the coolest experiences in music. I'm kinda jealous actually.

...

I know the streets are very narrow around that bit of NYC: do any of you guys know if we'll be sent away if we go along early (I saw someone saying they were planning to arrive 3pm). Back in England I'd be queuing at midday or so for this, but I'm not even sure if it'd be (1) necessary or (2) permitted in New York. I live in NJ, and can come up any time of the day, but I've no money to do anything if they send us away...

Any ideas?

(BTW: Hello. I'm new here. Been lurking for long time, though)

We don't queue much here, which is a shame because it's a lot of fun. The Bowery isn't super narrow as I recall, so there should be space if we wanted to, and either way, there's always cheap/free shit to do in NYC. We'll be just fine.

Oh, and welcome ha ha

I've queued for bigger shows in NYC from 11am/noontime on, haha... it's allowed, just not as common as it seems to be in the UK. I've never been to a show in the Webster Hall main space but I have walked past there on a show night and seen people lined up on the sidewalk, so you shouldn't run into any issues if you choose to do that. But there's plenty to do around Union Square if you don't feel like sitting around!

7 is when doors open. Opening act probably comes on at 8 and Manics at 9 or 9:20 or so.

As I said before, there's no problem with queueing but it isn't necessary. I wouldn't worry if you get there exactly at 7.

Yeah, I think so. I've just tried to text her now. If that doesn't work, I'll just note the songs down and post them after.
