Possibly. As mentioned in The Random Mentions thread earlier though, the TV presenter Carrie Grant tweeted this earlier:
Quote:
Although could this mean that the upcoming tour is a Past Present Future type tour, and the Futurology (or Futurology / Holy Bible Anniversary Tour? Wire has said that those two albums are “bedfellows”) is still to come? We can but dream.

I know it's my problem but I did get tickets for Brixton thinking that they would be promoting the new album.
Maybe they will play some new stuff - otherwise it should be promoted as still a RTF tour. Hope it's not another attempt at RTF as much as I do like the album I'm more in the mood for something a bit rockier! |

The backwards R thing is irritating. First it appears THB then SATT and now it is being used for this new campaign. It's a little over-used now.

No, this will be just the same tour they've done in the past few years. Minimum of 3 new songs.

Sounds more like PPF Tour 2 which can only bring greatness, one of the best tours they've done

I would love it but I know it won't be. It will be a greatest hits set with 2-3 new songs thrown in.

I thought there was talk of them 'launching' the album in Germany (and they're not playing there until May), or did I imagine that? I was always under the impression the UK tour was preceding the album's release anyway, but I could be wrong.

yeah they did say that. Looks like the Futurology tour will start in europe and we'll just get whatever singles they're planning. It'll be a plugged-in RTF extension tour with some other stuff thrown in
