If I see him on Friday I'll ask him then I took up too much time talking to him and there were a lot of people waiting for him!!

He's really lovely! He still looks about 20, amazingly. I was going to get one of the girls to ask him about the secrets of his youthful looks but someone else decided to speak to him about the next album instead haha

And did he say anything about the new album? probably not. Although he could have pointed us towards the location of the fountain of youth! Chance missed!

Got a Jamesy handshake myself. *faints*

Oh and as James got on the tourbus, he wagged his finger at us and said we'd all better get home safe!
Aaaaaaw! Bless him!

Yeah, I believe he described it as "a modern day THB". He was also asked if it sounded like anything they'd actually recorded before. His response was to think about it for a minute (it felt longer than a minute) and then say that he wasn't sure!

Hopefully I'll see him on Friday so I can pop the question to him myself

Great time yesterday, right in the front center so James in full sight.

Fans were really up for it, it was lovely though, my back and legs are hurting a lot still haha! Bad enough I had a cold so I couldn't barely stand anyway, singing a lot didn't help my sore throat either - worth it though!

My mum's first gig after 20 years of waiting and she loved it so I'm happy for her!

Revol, Rewind The Film, 30 Year War and Ready For Drowning definite highlights for me! Along with James during the acoustic set, really funny, the Sleepflower moment especially! Sadly didn't get to meet them afterwards, but still, a great night!

A modern THB sounds like the perfect album to me. <3
Sure you will see them again!

Best news ever Louise, I totally love it when you are chatting to James, I like to stand back and watch you bathing in the glory of it all.

Very nice to meet some FD-ers yesterday, hello to Maria, Sandrine, Shug, Mr Marwood (who totally freaked me out with that "I know" when I introduced myself..)

Had a great sleep in the queue and the gig was beautiful. Nicky has got all his sparkly gifts and a questionnaire and he was all "are you better now how is dance going" and there were cuddles and polaroids and life is pretty good right now.

Oh and he loved our signs....

Hang on.. Sorry I have no idea what you look like but I do actually remember going across a crossing and nearly walking into someone who looked like they recognised me, maybe that was you?

Ah, I'm soft as shit anyway

There was this really awkward moment where I was looking at him thinking "I know his face, is he from the forum?" And he was looking at my 'You Love Us' top and seemed to be wondering if he was meant to recognise me Didn't say a word to each other, of course!
Haha I remember that! I wondered too, nice to meet yesterday though sir

Fantastic gig, wasn't expecting Four Lonely Roads, thought Cate Le Bon had done all the gigs she was going to do. Think it was my favourite gig of the tour so far, James and Nicky were in fantastic spirits. Got the old Bunnymen story again, apparently Will Sergaent told James to fuck off. Was getting a bit bored of Everlasting acoustic but think it sounded brilliant last night. That tease of Tokyo Skyline was nice too. Loved the story about them supporting... Fat Cat? Whatever they said they were called, saying about how they'd taped their gig and somehow managed to tape the headliners slagging them off, something about them sounding like The Clash, Nicky wanting to be Simonen and James and Sean being midgets. Great night.

That just made me think 'Have I actually spoken to Rich at a gig yet?' I think I came close at Birmingham O2 that time!

I think I waved at you from about 15 rows back, presuming you were stood next to the gangly one?

The headliners who slagged them off on-tape were The Family Cat.
Great gig — I took a picture of the setlist:

Ah that's it, Family Cat. Cheers. Love it when they talk about who they supported back back back in the day, wonder if Family Cat remember being supported and where they are now.
