Bsides that predicted the sound of the next album...

I've noticed the band often continue with sounds they experimented with in bsides from the album before... for instance Comfort Comes sounding a lot like Faster, Sepia having the 'aaah' backing vocals used on much of This is My Truth, Close My Eyes has similar production to Know Your Enemy, the Forever Delayed bsides gave way to Lifeblood, A Secret Society showed us they were returning to 'rock'...

I wonder what the bsides from the new album will show us.

Well the first batch of b-sides will most likely show nothing, gotta wait for the ones from the final single of the era.

I see what you mean about the third single b-side.
In fact thinking about it Heydey Of The Blood and Lady Lazurus sound like they would have been softer songs from JFPL?
Another reason to keep buying the singles then isn't it?
