28/09/21 - Edinburgh Usher Hall

Has anyone been to a gig at Usher Hall lately? Their website advises mask-wearing throughiut the event and downloading the NHS Scotland test-and-trace app, just curious if they are enforcing these at all?

Not at the Usher Hall but was at a couple of gigs this past week - both pointed to scanning the QR code for Test and Protect on entry. If you don't download and set up the app before hand, the QR code will take you to a webpage to complete. Not sure they bothered with monitoring face coverings - Usher Hall might be more strict on this tho, especially in the seated areas.

Thanks for that. I'll have my app and I have the Covid Pass letter now, so hopefully that'll be plain sailing.

Should be fine with the app, we're not checking COVID Pass letters/vaccine certs until the rules come in on Friday at 5am, which would be an issue for the Glasgow gig next week but Edinburgh and Dundee this week should be fine.

On Facebook I'm seeing people queuing already. Have a great time whoever's going!

6pm and only 20-odd in the queue. Don't think I'm going to struggle to get the barrier here

In the end nobody asked for any proof of Covid status. Colour me non-plussed.

Very comfortably in more or less usual position on barrier. Job's a good'un.

From Despair acoustic instead of Stay Beautiful.

SPECTATORS OF MOTHERFUCKING SUICIDE instead of Little Baby Nothing.

Otherwise the same as Newcastle I think. But FUCK ME I will take that

Just noticed something on twitter, is there actually a Sean Moore t-shirt available at the merch stand?

Looking forward to Spectators but I'm beginning to feel they've forgotten which album they're meant to be touring!
