True - though it was strange that they came to do those Holy bible gigs. That was ducking great. But to come here and promote a new album, justbdont aee it. It’s not like they make money out of a US tour. Maybe a gig in nY and a gig in LA?

You have better luck than I do in terms of the regular sale - it's on US Black Friday and you get can get up in the middle of the night to take your chances.

There will be more dates, probably in autumn after the festivals.

This is just a marketing ploy to encourage people to buy the album and to try and fill up the arenas.

Yup. Same reason you don't announce festivals til you sell out the tour.

Went for Cardiff in Pre Sale. Intend to get Leeds in general sale.

My very local gig is Newcastle, and whilst we will no doubt go it is not a priority. I can't imagine it will sell out quickly, if at all. Venue is one of the worst in the country.

We're going to Manchester. With eight minutes to go for the pre-sale I decided to go downstairs and check on something else. When I got back I coudn't find my credit card. Panic ensued, I emptied my purse and looked under my keyboard. With five seconds to spare I spotted it, edge on, resting on the wall under the radiator. I blame Nicky Wire.

I can't find anywhere to put in the presale code on ticketmaster- unless the manchester presale sold out in 5 minutes? Seems unlikely.

edit: sorted, got manchester ticket.

....and £15 in extra charges by Ticketmaster is f****** shocking.

Service Charge?? Facilities Charge??? When I went xmas shopping on Monday I can't remember being charged to go into the shops or having to pay the staff to actually serve me

It seems a strange way to announce a tour for an upcoming album. I remember watching Nine Inch Nails and as a Spiral fan member I was expecting to get in early to see a rehearsal and instead was given pizza, an introduction from Trent and a chance to hear Year Zero for the first time over the PA. I know the dates don’t add up for the Manics to do this but it would be pretty cool. I’ll never forget that day!

The charges are a disgrace. Won’t be long until we will have to pay cleaning up charges like air bnb!!

I thought my code would only work for one gig, but it seems it's also good for two tickets if it's one each to two separate gigs. I managed to get London and Cardiff booked, just Manchester to get on Friday now!
