Thanks for the answer Elizabeth

hopefully coming to a cinema near me soon!

Aw, shucks... ^_^ I can't believe it was 7/8 years ago, I remember you being here so well! Thankyou for being so lovely and understanding of how nervous and flaily I was. I'm glad I did it, really looking forward to seeing the film again.

I'm sure the Prince of Wales cinema off Leicester Square would be interested. They love independent stuff, they're very cheap to hire out a reasonably sized cinema room and we could all have a red carpet premiere!

I'm sure we can get some Manics B-list related guests to attend The band probably wouldn't want to turn up. I'm pretty sure I'd be able to get Sean Read to go down if he's not touring with anyone then

It would seem a bit weird to me to have guests who are just extras in their touring setup.

Possibly, but you could say the same about people like Dave Eringa, Guy Massey and Greg Haver. They've all played with the band on stage but have also produced/engineered some of their studio material. In the absence of the band, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the "supporting cast" as guests (yes, even bloody Nasmyth), more so than their management or anyone else I can think of.

But Sean Read doesn't feature on the film, does he?

In all fairness he probably wasn't. I'm just trying to think if there was any live footage from the SATT tour because he wasn't involved during the PPF era. There's that bit at the end from Jools in 2009 but pretty sure they were a three piece for that.

There's quite a bit of footage from the Send Away The Tigers tour in the film, as well as some bits from the 2009 American dates, so yes, Sean Read is at least technically present in the film. You get a pretty good look at the back of his head in a shot from the gig in Philadelphia!

Wow! It's been a long time since I was interviewed for this (twice - once with Hanna in 2002, and once on my own in 2004). I was dreadful and won't be on the edit, but I'm thrilled for everyone involved that the project's coming to fruition. Can't wait to see the final film!
