rick, I would say though that as a tattoo is something you'll have on your body forever (lasering off isn't too great - you'd usually end up with having the blotchy remaining mess covered up!),. the words you choose have got to have significance to you. Pick something and think, do I want these words on me forever?

The other day I was thinking of getting "Happiest when most away" (from the Emily Bronte poem) tattooed on my arm but after keeping it in my head for a month, I've given up on that. It's a nice poem but it'd make me sound like a stoner! So I spose what I'm saying is - pick one of your favourite lyrics then just think about it being there on your arm. Think about it for a month or longer and if after that time it seems perfect, then go for it.

Yeah. I can remember someone on here (may have been Karen?) said they had a five year rule, wont get a band tattoo if you haven't been a fan for over five years. Although I have only been a fan for three, I regard myself safe as I've seen pictures of Nicky circa Lifeblood and I didn't do a runner.

hola - just plain old Times New Roman on mine there - plan was to use the most basic, book-style text i could think of - also meant to be a slight nod to the vid for 'faster' - that pic was taken on the day it was done, so it's a little raw and raised there; settled down nicely now.

mine? that's inner right arm - there was no way to make it look vaguely normal with the iphone camera!

I want this tattooed on very low on my hip. (I've booked my appointment for august but I may re-book it for July)
I'm also debating getting Ai / Anraku (Love/Comfort) in Japanese Kanji within it to alos symbolise my passion for Japanese and Comfort Comes speaks to me. But I'm not tooooo sure about that.I'm definitely getting the roses done. Because it'll be fairly ambiguous, but us manics fans will know what it means!

sexy, but you'll need to be careful with the colouring because the colour of your skin will make the shading a bit weird, and may make it hard to see the detail. You'll want a very good tattooist for that.
