I've subscribed to see what else he plays. I've seen a couple other channels doing this sort of thing with the manics that's been good. I think I've mentioned them in the thread but didn't provide any links. I'll see if I saved them. He should've shown the videos for all the singles rather than concentrate so much on the lyrics, agree with the bearded guy that you need to just listen to a song on the first go and absorb the song rather than worry about what's being said. Saw in the comments of 'the winning song' ( still shocked ) he loves lifeblood so I'll forgive all the biographical mistakes

The U.S. mix of Little Baby Nothing has way better Traci Lords vocals than the U.K. mix.

Doesn't mention the manics but I think we shouldn't get too excited about any gigs this summer going ahead .....

I know, right? I've done my fair share of ragging on their more unchallenging, poppy stuff along with everyone else but it brings in the punters much the same way you stole the sun gets a crowd moving. Picking tracks out of context from the holy bible to try and get a pal excited about them is not a strategy likely to work, with a vid edited together full of horrific imagery no less.

Please, he prayed, now - A gray disk, the colour of Chiba sky. Now - Disk beginning to rotate, faster, becoming a sphere of paler gray. Expanding - And flowed, flowered for him, fluid neon origami trick, the unfolding of his distanceless home, his country, transparent 3D chessboard extending to infinity. Inner eye opening to the stepped scarlet pyramid of the Eastern Seaboard Fission Authority burning beyond the green cubes of Mitsubishi Bank of America, and high and very far away he saw the spiral arms of military systems, forever beyond his reach. And somewhere he was laughing, in a white-painted loft, distant fingers caressing the deck, tears of release streaking his face. |

I love you stole the sun ...that would be on my list to play someone . From the holy bible first tracks have to be Faster and This is yesterday. That album took ages for me to get into and I was a fan already. He should've asked us how to proceed

Been thinking about a video I saw of Repeat, I think 1993 at Phoenix festival? Does anyone have this at all? It use to be on YouTube but I can’t find it. Thanks!

It use to be on YouTube but has since gone. I remember James starting the song with “shut the f*** up you fat c***, now this is a little school lesson for you, repeat after me, f*** your queen and your country” . Great version. |

It's here but cut to bits and missing the intro, I'll do some more searching:

So my brother-in-law sent over an autographed copy of Rewind The Film earlier today. Not got around to asking him its origins, so I put it to you guys, are the for real?

The James and Sean autographs look similar to other ones on line, the third one doesn't look like it says Nicky, Wire or anything similar!
I'll be interested about the story behind having them write "Disco dancing with the rapists and how the band responded to being asked to write that lyric for them! |

Actually, although I still struggle to see how it says Nicky it seems comaprable to other signatures
