Last time I went to O2 they weren't doing it, but then I'm starting to think that it depends on which security are doing it. Most venues don't bother to check anymore but then others check phones earlier in the day. Luck, I think.

More to the point, ooh second door I only remember the one by the ice rink.

The other thing is that everyone's got wise to the whole O2 priority thing now - the last few gigs I've been to at O2 venues that I've queued for have had an O2 priority queue snaking around the building, and a completely non-existant non-O2 queue!

I hope they don't do this, it is so frustating when we've all paid the same for tickets. Do they do the plus 1? If not i think i'll borrow my mum's phone for weekend, she is on O2.

on The O2 website it doesn't say anything about priority queueing, just that you can do it at other O2 venues

When I went to see Pulp at Brixton Academy (which is an O2 venue), I bumped into a mate in the queue who was an O2 customer. She was able to get up to 3, possibly 4 (I can't remember how many) other people in with her.

They do plus 1. My mum was on O2 and got both of us in with it with her phone at Brixton.
Although, they were very lax with checking - they came round saying 'this is the O2 queue, are you on O2?' and my mum said 'yes, do you want to check?' and tried to show him her phone and he just said 'no, I'll trust you'.

I'm convinced they'll open with Motown Junk followed by This Is The Day, getting the first and last singles from the set out the way right away. Then they'll open the second half with Masses (hello it's us again).

I wouldn't be surprised if it was You Love Us or Motorcycle Emptiness, but I'd like it if they re-jigged the beginning up a bit. It all got a bit overcrowded with songs featuring the word 'love' for a while recently.
