Well that was a bit good! Can't believe how tiny the room was, managed to get the front row and was so close to James, any closer and I'd have been sat on his knee (what a shame that would have been ). Loved the set and questions too, even if the word 'collaboration' probably cropped up in about three separate ones I was relieved they didn't get round to mine tbh, I hate public speaking at the best of times, let alone in a room of people including James Dean Bradfield I was just glad to be there in such an intimate setting and I'd forgotten just how massive James' voice can be

We saw him afterwards and walked behind him down the stairs on his way out, but he was so clearly in a hurry to leave, I didn't want to bother him really. I know he's happy to chat to fans when he has the time, so didn't want to seem pushy. I was just glad I finally won a Manics competition; it's only taken about 9 years

I took a few photos, which I will try upload either tomorrow or Saturday. I'm shattered now and bed is calling me. Glad others who went had a good time too! I was probably stood near some of you, but I'm afraid I don't know what any of you look like and vice versa.

Oh and I found myself liking the beardy situation a lot more in real life than in photos.

The beard has to be seen to be appreciated, we are a fortunate few.

Yes, I saw him in Lincoln and was very surprised by the colour of his shirt.
