hmmm a few things about this

The flag guitar - its very brit-pop and also a bit garish and gaudy. I know they have grown up a lot since dumb flag scum, and nicky has had the welsh flag for a while on his amp, but the guitar seems a bit OTT for me

football songs in general are naff and old hat

One of the downsides of the popularity of the manics was the 'thick bricklayer in his white van singing' the bridge to ADFL and not realising the irony of it and this again will have big beer bellied larger louts singing along to the manics who don't now of, or understand their stand on feminism, releasing shackles on the working class and other leftist ideologies

Maybe I'm thinking too much about it and it will be a good tune

Maybe I'm jealous cos we get shit like badiel and skinner and that vindaloo crap

- At least wales will be out in the group stages so the song wont hang around for long (just a bit of banter there)

A couple of years ago, a few of us remade the World In Motion video to advertise a local pub (The Maze) showing the world cup games.

Shame England went out on the first round, but here's me doing me best Bernard Sumner impression: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIHRdbLWwrI

Seems to have a fair few verses to it , anyone good at squint deciphering?

Just heard the repeat of the Radio Wales interview. Nicky claims the first draft was from 1993 so hopefully that answers the 'wont somebody please think of the Richey ' lunacy around here.

Wonder what the video will be like, guess it'll just be a performance with the Welsh team singing certain words? Looks like a lot of words from those lyrics sheets.

Greetings from 500% Magnification Land!

Song

Yip yip c'mon
Football large word longest line in verse
Something else that is second longest
And something long just under

Actually no, forget it, I'll wait a few months or see if anything gets Tweeted.

*squints further at lyric sheets*

Who's responsible (for marking the near post at a corner)? You fucking are!

I want to dive in the box and not leave a footprint.

I am stronger than Mata, Mane and Milner, I spat out Pugh and Pelle.

(Just doin' a little extra 'sacrilege')

Love James's guitar, imagine and English rocker having the English emblem on his guitar, The Guardian would have a field day

Why do I think the video will be based on these cringeworthy pictures? (Judging by the video camera in the background)
