As if there's any band who've been going for more than 20 years that doesn't have fans bitching about the new material... it's a side effect of prolonged success, deal with it.
The fact they're still being talked about at all is a compliment - it means people still care.

Out of what I've heard, I adore the title track, Black Square, Hughesovka
Like the others, the only one that doesn't do it for me would be Let's Go to War, but then that's only the live version. V. excited

Black Square is one of the best songs yet, on par with Europa for me. A lot better than the studio version of Futurology and better than the single. Let's Go To War might end up being a bit too overproduced as well but let's see
 It's quite strange hearing the live stuff first and then having to hear the recorded versions.But Black Square.......... wow! It's got a positive 80s vibe to it, the opening synth bit after the Nina Hoss spoken section reminds me a bit of that Flock Of Seagulls song (that Photograph one) and there's a lot in the song to hold interest. Really good middle 8 section that reminds me a bit of Red Rubber. Thought it was going to be one of the crap songs on the album given where it was positioned on the album and the fact that not a lot has been made about it in the press. The only other songs I'm really, really keen on hearing are The Last Jet To Leave Moscow and the Gartside one.

Black Square also has a slight Lifeblood era vibe to it as well! Probably why I like it so much. Could have easily been an album track or b-side from 2004.
