The Molly Tribute Thread

Last night was the first time it was confirmed to me that Molly passed away last year. This is saddening and makes Mirror Dog's presence on stage all the more poignant.

Molly, I salute you. You were always the most important member of the band to me and the muse for some of Nicky's finest work.

Yeah it's always sad when a pet dies. I'm glad she was loved and looked after.

I was actually a bit sad when I heard Nicky say she'd died. Maybe it's cos I have an elderly dog of my own. Anyway, hope you're gnawing on a slipper somewhere, Molly.

Whoever made the Molly Mannequin, put the tail down and ears staggered, a sign of Anxiety in a Dog.

Wasn't Molly the golden lab his family had back in the early '90s? Surely that can't be the same dog! Unless of course he names all his dogs Molly.

Yep, it certainly sucks to loose such a lovely family member (I've lost several dogs and cats in my lifetime...each one was and are irreplaceable). Likely had a very good life though so that's really all that matters.

He mentions another dog in this one:

RIP Molly. I was wondering why he had a sparkly dog onstage with him and I think it's a lovely tribute

I wonder whether it's just his dog covered in plaster and mirrored up? Wire does seem to like DIY projects at the minute. Must stink.
