I have TIMT & EMG cds plus a poster and album flat signed by all three. I first met them in 1996 after a gig in Seattle that was plagued with sound/ guitar problems that made James mad. I saw a funny exchange between James and a fan who just had something signed. James tried to hand the pen back and the guy said, "you keep it" and james said, "No, you can keep it" and it just kept going back and forth. I finally stepped in and said, "Would you please sign my cd with the pen?" and he did a quick (but neat) "JDB" on it. James was sarcastically batting off "good show" comments from people. I think people were just happy to see them even if it was an off night. I know I was.

All the pre-order stuff they've done, Stay Beautiful 7" with Richey and a Lifeblood era picture. I'd love to take my UK Channel Boredom down to get signed at a gig, but it's a flimsy thing, probably wouldn't survive.

I doubt there are many other dollar bills out there signed by the Manics - could be worth a bit!

Well, there is at least one more signed by James. I had one bill for each of them. Before I could explain this James had already signed two of them! When I told him it was supposed to be one each he laughed and replaced one of them with one out of his own pocket. Bless 'im.

Thanks to the lovely Andrea/Valley Girl I now own a German promo of That's No Way To Tell A Lie signed by Mr Bradfield himself. I shall treasure it always but I definitely want to get something personally signed so I'll have to try again at a Midlands gig next time!

We got the "You Love U.S." poster from NYC signed, my JFPL special edition signed by everyone (had James sign the inside with silver marker, thinking I was all slick, and then Sean opens up to one of the blank notebook pages, signs and says "yeah, done this a few thousand times, this is the best way" , oh and Nicky signed the WLW page), and also had Nicky sign the forward of "Fuse".
