when I listen to it I rather think about Stayn' Alive by Bee Gees. you know - disco songs from the 80ties by 2000s rock band - NO. I always omit this song, well OF COURSE lyrics are ok but the tunes - NO NO NO! with such tunes YOU MUST HEAR falsetto - I just CAN'T imagine James singing falsetto. no no no, I don't want even try to imagine that

The GT era is my favourite era for Manics videos (homoeroticism, paint, ferris wheels and tortoises ftw). I think that after Richey left their flare for creating good videos just gradually died out. I only like 5 of the videos from the post-Richey era: A Design for Life, Everything Must Go, Kevin Carter, Tolerate and So Why So Sad.

I hate So Why So Shit vid except Manics look. I just don't like the whole concept of it. I love The Everlasting vid and Tolerate. but those vids WITHOUT Manics are just bad ones - Let Robeson Sing and Autumnsong, though they're good songs. Indian Summer is lovely vid.
