Random thought 2... I've probably seen you at loads of queues, and know your username well, but have no idea what you look like...

Wolves is awful with the whole 6 doors of death though... And then the scanners which will probably not work... What happened to the good old tearing of the ticket?!

The 19-year-olds must all be with the barrier crowd then! 30-60 from the sidelines, 45-60 in Edinburgh.

I don't think Futurology will be "nasty" as Nicky describes it based on the 2 songs we've heard so far. Nothing, lyrically, strikes me as particuarly nasty.

Despite thinking (IMO, it's probably something else. I don't know) "Faster" was dropped from the setlist as Nicky found it too upsetting starting the gigs with it after talking up the 20th anniversary of THB, I now present...

News: Manic Street Preachers announce the return of the Planet Of The Apes monkey masks for their 2014 tour!

Nicky: Well the Planet Of The Apes monkey masks were such an iconic part of our original gigs, but we've sort of let it slide into obscurity since then.

(James walks up behind him wearing a Planet Of The Apes monkey mask and taps Nicky on the shoulder)

Nicky: Aargh! AAARGH!!! (runs off waving arms)

James: Well that was £50 well spent then...

If they can get the prices just right enough!
And cause the bootleg merch people to just have a crap plastic monkey mask with a string on the end.
