Too hard! Don't think I've been to enough to be able to make a straight decision. Probably JFPL tour, just, for me. At Wolves!

Surely everyone is just going to post setlists from the PPF tour?

(Unless they saw them in the early 90s, of course.)

Anyway, for me it's the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in 2005.
1. Found That Soul
2. A Design For Life
3. Roses In The Hospital
4. Faster
5. 1985
6. Everything Must Go
7. Elvis Impersonator: Blackpool Pier
8. You Love Us
9. Let Robeson Sing
10. Of Walking Abortion
11. Solitude Sometimes Is
12. If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
13. The Masses Against The Classes
14. The Everlasting (Acoustic)
15. Archives Of Pain (Acoustic/Electric)
16. You Stole The Sun From My Heart
17. Stay Beautiful
18. Cardiff Afterlife
19. ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwouldf allapart
20. Firefight
21. Motorcycle Emptiness
22. Paradise City into Motown Junk

If I was choosing an ideal realistic setlist (so that excludes playing the entire of THB or playing various b-sides they've never played live like Love Torn Us Under, The Vorticists, Comfort Comes), the songs in bold would probably be in there.

Probably Newcastle on the PPF tour, just because me and a friend had this insanely rabid desire to have them play Revol, and they did.

1.Found That Soul
2.A Design For Life
3.Roses In The Hospital
4.Revol
5.Empty Souls
6.Everything Must Go
7.My Little Empire
8.You Love Us
9.Let Robeson Sing
10.Of Walking Abortion
11.Solitude Sometimes Is
12.If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
13.The Masses Against The Classes
14.The Everlasting (Acoustic)
15.Archives Of Pain (Acoustic/Electric)
16.You Stole The Sun From My Heart
17.Stay Beautiful
18.Cardiff Afterlife
19.Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayit'sworldwou ldfallapart
20.Firefight
21.Motorcycle Emptiness
22.Paradise City into Motown Junk

I don't think I've ever been unhappy with the setlists at any gig I've seen, I mean its the bloody Manics who I completely worship and they're right there in front of me and I love everything they've done... though it'd be nice to have some of the standards like From Despair/Roses or Ocean Spray swapped out for more obscure album tracks every so often. I still have this slightly ludicrous ambition to hear every album track live one day but I don't fancy my chances with Crucifix Kiss or Intense Humming of Evil or whatever

Regards,
Marwood.

I don't think so - well not for me anyway. For the Liverpool gig my then-girlfriend didn't want to go down the front, so for that reason although it had the best setlist it wouldn't be my fave ever gig, if that makes sense.

Oh, I dunno though. I think I enjoyed Aberdeen or Newcastle on the SATT tours more than the Newcastle gig I used here. But they didn't have Revol or My Little Empire

Regards,
Marwood.

I see you're points. Nothing worse than being at a great gig and for whatever reason you can't get into the spirit of the occasion. Sometimes going to gigs alone isn't a bad thing at all.

Best set list ever and I didn't really appreciate it at the time other than that, pretty any of the dates on the PPF. Managed to chose a good tour to go a bit gigtastic on.

That Newcastle gig I mentioned on the PPF tour was a seated venue and as much I loved it, you couldn't get past the fact that you were trapped between rows of seats. Also I was miles away from the stage and the sound is always crap at the city hall. Still loved it though.

Regards,
Marwood.

I really enjoyed last year's JFPL tour setlist in Glasgow. I'm forever going to be gutted I couldn't go to the PPF date in Edinburgh.

The album had not grown on me by the time the gig came round. So i didn't appreciate it being played in it's entirety. I would love to hear it live in full now.
