Listened to it on the way to placement this morning. loving most of it. Divine youth sounds like it should be in a Disney movie.....well georgia's part anyway. I bet nicky watched frozen when he was writing it.

favourite song has to be sex, power, love and money.

I wish there were more Europa Geht... type songs. For me that remains the only real krautrock song on the album, as I understand it.

I like it but it just seems really out of place, so much so that it is a bit jarring... That chorus is fantastic though.

Highlights for me so far are Let's Go To War, Next Jet To Leave Moscow, Dreaming a City and the title track. Along with Europa and Walk Me To The Bridge of course, but I was already well familiar with them.

There aren't any weak tracks on there though in all fairness.

Yeah its just stuck in the middle of it all. the album doesn't flow too well but each song is good in it's owm right.

Well yeah, but it's not a Krautrock Album!
It just has influences.

I'd probably re-structure it a little certainly. I'd probably drop Mayakovsky altogether mind, chuck Empty Motorcade in there somewhere and end on Dreaming A City. Haven't decided on my ideal final tracklisting yet!

Yay!

Incidentally, If you have trouble getting your CDs out of the sleeve of the deluxe: I think the issue is the amazing properties of friction. Slip a piece of card (avoid any sharp-edges scratching your CD though) between the bottom of the CD and the sleeve, and your CD will slide out really easily.
