Lincs FM - JDB Competition
Hey guys, my Mum rang me and told me they just heard on the radio that James is going into the Lincs Fm studio next Thursday (I think) and there's a competition online to meet him or something. I'm trying to find details but nothing is up on their site yet!

Seriously, I'll give up on life if I don't get this. It's not like there's many Manics fans in Lincoln
 You have to enter by Monday 12pm apparently as well, I just need to find the comp now. They might not have put up it yet I suppose.

I still haven't found anything about it. I have a feeling it's a text-in thing. The question is: How many number 1 singles have the Manics had?
I have sent them a tweet and also an e-mail asking about it anyway to see if there's something else!

I don't blame you, I hate Lincs FM too I still can't find anything about it on their website...I'm going to have to actually listen to Lincs FM now.

I do live in Lincoln but I don't think I'll be entering.. one of those "never meet your heroes" type of things, though I'm absolutely certain he's a really nice bloke. Plus, I bet it'd be during the day and no way I can get the time off work.
I do want to know what exactly is going on though! Is it this Thursday? What time? What is he going to do? Just promote the new album? sorry for all the questions!

I think it's this Thursday and it's an acoustic session. I have no idea what time though. But, there's absolutely nothing about a session or James coming to Lincoln on the Lincs FM website, yet they put something up on Twitter and their Facebook group.
They don't seem very organised!

I remember Lincs FM interviewing them during the Lifeblood campaign.
"A very rare and special opportunity - they hardly ever do radio interviews," they said. I text in saying "Yes they fucking do - I know electricity is rare in Lincoln, but buy a computer and do some research before you speak."
