Signed Nicky Wire book Death Of A Polaroid
You might want to know that:
- Faber and Faber website is selling the superlimited edition of 50 copies too, unless it sold out during the week-end; - there are rumours about a 500 copies, purchasable on the HMV website only, of the standard edition in a slip case and signed by Nicky. As I wrote in my post (titled ' "The Masses Against The Classes"? Not really ') on my blog, this appears to be "within the current policy" of the major artists and/or those who manage them (I am talking also of boxed sets, etc.).
I personally find quite absurd both the 50 copies edition of Nicky's book as well as the limited only editions of Cummins' tome. But the latter is sold out on BOTH versions so ... The 500 copies of Nicky's Death of a Polaroid might have made more sense maybe in a better binding even if a little (just a little) more pricier. By the way you may notice that currently they do not say (yet?) it is autographed and/or slipcased. Mind cover price for the standard edition is 30 pounds, so it is 20 more for the autograph; thing is Amazon it is selling the standard half price Judge by yourself. Cheers Stegmastino

As a thank you to everybody who visited my blog - http://steg-speakerscorner.blogspot.com/ -, I translated in English (and with a DIFFERENT IMAGE to accompany it) my post about limited editions and deluxe books (not only the MSP ones) which bears the title ‘“The Masses Against The Classes”? – Not Really’.
Please consider that the vast majority of the posts will be more interesting to Italians than to British people and/or to younger ones. I will definitely write about MSP again and hopefully in more positive way, adding some more images of interest. Cheers and once more thanks to everybody, please keep visiting. Stefano

I emailed HMV yesterday to ask them if they can provide more details about what you get for the extra money. Still awaiting a reply.

HMV said "Unfortunately, as of the moment we currently do not hold information about the item you are enquiring. Please be advised to wait any further updates on our website. However, for hmv exclusives items they actually comes with a bonus item."
It's released in under three weeks so hope they have an update soon.

It is what it is stated in my first post for the very simple reason that the news come from a reliable source, which means the source is reliable and has no interest in stating otherwise.
Does anybody bought the superlimited (50 copies) and received it already? Cheers. Stegmastino
