They should at least do a Great Western tour. I missed the actual one due to already having tickets for Sparklehorse.

That was a bloody good night. They tore through you love us. Only problem was being in the seats stage right, but James was really nice about playing to us on top of the risers, so much so he split his trousers!

I bought a loggia box but my seat was behind a bloody column! Spent the second half having a dance

Knew as soon as I sold my ticket yesterday that they'd bring back You're Tender and you're Tired, twats. Better play it at Swansea!

now excuse me, what prompted Nicky to brag about it was my beautiful poster "Where is IKTZ 10th anniv. tour?"

Wow, what a gig! And if I've counted correctly my 20th since 1998 which is quite fitting for a 20 anniversary tour...

Really loved hearing EMG in its entirety and even You Stole The Sun was great which says a lot about this top gig :-)
No, but seriously - that block with Roses / Tender & Tired / Wonder / Heaven was, yes, heaven! The band in top form, the venue was ace and it must be said that Editors were great as well, probably the best 'support band' I've ever seen at a Manics gig.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned the poor sound quality for a significant amount of time during the concert. Some of it just sounded like a thudding noise, and I could barely hear James's guitar! Was really looking forward to Further Away but it was rubbish. It was totally inconsistent though, some of the gig sounded fine!

Don't get me wrong, i'm glad I went. The guys were on top form, the screens were cool, the giant party popper was fun and Nicky looked hot in the leather jacket. But that's just part of the reason I goto a gig. I also, esp when spending £50, kind of expect good sound throughout... :/

Hm, didn't notice that but then I am probably the worst in hearing sound quality, it's more the atmosphere for me. Some songs I'd say came across pretty impressive and you would think that such a venue has some top notch sound going and any problems with the Manics sound would have been fixed after the first night?!

On this occasion I didn't jump about singing, I just listened so maybe this is why it was really noticable. I mentioned it to my friend doing the same and he nodded, but added that it had improved since the night before (I only did the one night)! But yeah some were good, it was inconsistent though and by quite a lot. Weird. At least the trumpet was nice and clear. I had the opposite problem with a James (band) gig recently... could hear the guitar but not the trumpet. LOL Can't win

Whole gig sounded amazing from where I was up in the gods. Don't know if maybe you were lower down, but the guitar really came through where we were, it's one of the best gigs of theirs I've been to sound wise.

We were in the arena. I did wonder if we were too far forwards actually but it wasn't like it was poor the whole time.

The arena is cool if you wanted to jump about tho, nice sprung floor! I felt like I was about to lift off when the people next to me started jumping.
