I wonder which radio will play the song without talking over the intro?
That's the real question.
There are too many variables and combinations to choose from as to what it'll sound like? I won't be underwhelmed. I'm interested to hear what the MONSTER guitar solo sounds like!

Ok, it'll start off with Sean drumming fast. There. That'll do for now.

They could well have gone down the N-Dubz route, including the hats

All I will predict is that "It's not war - just the end of love", will be a very catchy singalong line likened to A Design to Life. I hope so, anyway. Hopefully the guitar will sound awesome on it, too.

Bowie's Let's Dance via Wings Jet with a sprinkle of Where The Streets Have No Name.

Well I'm presuming it's gonna have a nod to Queen in it somewhere at least!

Big, sweepy rock. EMG-esque (but heavier) with a touch of SATT thrown in. The chorus will be a bit of a shouty-pointy fest.

Hope it will be like a mix of

DON'T STOP BELIEVIN' (Journey),
GOD GAVE ROCK 'N' ROLL TO YOU II (Kiss) and
the guitar solo from STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (Led Zeppelin).

...

But it will probably sound like INDIAN SUMMER (by the Manics).

I said it a month or so ago and I still think it. I'm feeling a mix of Leviathan and Anorexic Rodin, but more epic!

What is the single even called? I don't know.
I reckon it'll be a mid tempo pop/rock song with lush strings in there and I'm starting to worry it'll be one to easily forget but I always think this with new Manics material and have done for the past 10 years but they never disappoint me! One thing I know there won't be any of is James' screaming vocals, he doesn't do those these days....especially live anyway.
