Nicky Wire is the guest on the latest Adam Buxton podcast

I could add more but I think the title just about covers it.

I really like AB's style and I have this saved up to listen to on a plane tomorrow.

His interview with Chris Morris was excellent

Cant wait for this! I love Adam Buxton. His podcasts are excellent. Very relaxed chat usually.

I’ve been meaning to give Adam Buxton’s podcast a go for ages. Now that he’s done a two part Chris Morris interview and also a Nicky Wire interview, I finally have the impetus.

That was a fun listen. Didn't learn anything new exactly, it was just... nice.

That's how I felt about it, too! A really lovely listen, though. I like that Buxton didn't sound like a super fan of the band but was still well informed and interested...I guess that's what he does so well, really.

I know Pob because of the comparisons to Michael Gove. Didn't realise he gobbed on the screen!

He actually doesn't, at least not at the beginning of every episode, he breathes on the screen.

Unless you mean Gove... in which case I have no idea... lol.

OT, I enjoyed the podcast too.

Ah! I see.

It's unlikely, but it'd be great if James* did the Buxton podcast too.

*and/or Sean, but I fear that's even less likely!

Pob used to blow a raspberry at the screen, therefore covering it in gob, and then write his name in it... or so I remember!!

But does he actually speak Welsh, as his Wiki says?

Hahaha! No it was a made up language from what I remember and the joke at the time (early 1980's) was he was speaking Welsh.
