LBN (House In The Woods Demo) vocals question

Perhaps it has been mentioned somewhere before and I've missed it, but does anyone know who did the female part of the vocals on the LBN demo from the 20th Anniversary Edition of GT?

Is it? I mean, it does sound a lot like her, but didn't she show up in the studio for like one day, did the vocals for the album and went back to the US?

She's not Madonna You can do a lot in a day, she probably did a few takes or maybe sent a tape of the song beforehand

I take that back, it does NOT sound like Traci. Nor Kylie. Nor Madonna.

I think the idea that they wanted some troubled victim of society to sing on it is a bit of a fanciful story put out by the label. They wanted Kylie, couldn't have her and that was that - the record company went out to find the pornstar.

in the track by track clips they said Martin Hall suggested her. They'd not seen any of her films and made the joke Martin had *done the research*

edit: might've been philip actually

Could it not be that fruitcake woman who wrote a 'novel' on the band about 12 years ago? She was singing for the band at one point...can't remember her name now but the book was fucking hilarious.

Possibly the most random cash-in ever. But probably more accurate than Nick Wise's biog.
Jenny's memory is the best in the world, she remembers the exact times on the exact days that james' mum bought in a tray of brews when they were practising
