Definitely an autumn/winter album, though I don't know how much of that is just nostalgia because of when it came out. Still love this album, remains in my top five.

Summer is over
Days are getting shorter
It's been raining the whole day and it's cold
It's time for Lifeblood

RTF strikes me as very autumnal rather than especially wintry, there's a warmth and reflectiveness about it which is both the afterglow of summer and the onset of a long winter.

Lifeblood is perfect for those quiet mornings when you wake up to six inches of snow.

Jan - This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours
Feb - Gold Against The Soul
Mar - Generation Terrorists
Apr - Everything Must Go
May - Postcards From A Young Man
Jun - Know Your Enemy
Jul - The Holy Bible
Aug - Send Away The Tigers
Sep - Rewind The Film
Oct - Journal For Plague Lovers
Nov - Lifeblood
Dec - The Ghosts of Christmas, obviously

Mar - Generation Terrorists

Like this bit of your list

But I would put THB in February or April.

That's true. I always listen to it when it snows. What a beautiful description of RTF! Two more days for me before I can download the mp3 version and I am counting the hours..

I know what you're saying but there's something about the intensity and violence of it which puts me in mind of a summer heatwave. None of the hope or possibility of springtime, and definitely none of the stillness of winter. Plus there's not a massive choice of "summer albums"...

For completion's sake I'd say TGW is a May record, and IKTZ an October one.

It's a summer record, but late summer as it ends in Winterlovers, via Autumnsong... an Indian Summer album.

Never been bothered with whether it's a winter album or not, but if so the ending certainly suggests spring is to come with a Cardiff Afterlife.

I'm wondering if the England rugby team should sing that song on the way to games from now on, if you get my meaning.

My winter CD is Forever Delayed. TIMTTMY is for Autumn. The other months I listen to random tracks/albums.
