Early thoughts are that this album is pretty awesome! Love it when JDB goes full guitar hero for In Eternity. Understand why they're touring arenas - it's got the EMG and SATT feel to it.

This is very much a James album. He has regained his confidence in his voice and is letting his imagine fly with the guitar for the first time since Journals.

Why Distant Colours was put out as a single is totally beyond me. It's like if they put out This is Yesterday for the Holy Bible except without it being a decent song to begin with.

Searching for Manics + Amazon on Twitter doesn’t get a single result. They might have got away with it.

Liverpool Revisited features the clip from the teaser that a lot of people liked but that’s all that part amounts to and the rest of the song sounds nothing like it.
