Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan what a show! This is the earliest I've been able to get on to give my two pence... Best thing about it? There were two. 1) not having heard any of the new album ahead of the gig, and being blown away by all the new tracks. 2) hearing songs I've personally never heard at a Manics gig before - Ready for Drowing, Sleepflower. Plus - what a crowd! Hearing everyone in the place blast out ADFL, Motorcycle Emptiness, even Revol! Some die-hard fans there for sure... loved every minute. Thanks lads!

All of which I consider a massive step forward So I'm getting more comfortable with the idea, and if the next tour has lots (and lots and lots) of dates for me to build up my confidence then it might eventually happen

I won't bother talking about the gig because people have covered all the relevant points and there's not much to say

I will however say that it was really good to meet Hummingbird finally! I also met Marwood and a few others very briefly for the first time (don't remember FD names so please forgive me!). FMF meet up afterwards was cool, our own small sub group (Sandrine, Cri, hummingbird, Paul and Anne-Sophie) broke off when they closed the outside area and we had our own little meet-up, which consisted of greasy food and very loud singing of Manics songs through the streets of in Manchester at 1am! Damn, that was a LOT of fun! Can we do it all again next year???? PLEASE!

That was so much fun I even went crowdsurfing! The singalongs were ridiculously good. I'm glad I found a fan to sell my spare ticket to. Looking forward to the next tour.

Yes. Apologies if I ruined your hair. I lost myself to the music and I'd had a third of rum and four pints by then.
