I'm really not sure about it at the moment. It's definitely catchy but I can't figure out if I like it or not.

On first listen I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either.

To me, it was instantly likeable but I thought the horns were a little overdone.

On my 3rd/4th listen now. Love the beat to it, and a great vocal melody. Maybe the horns are a little overdone but definitely a song that will sound great blaring out of the radio.

All the horns remind me of The Undefeated by Super Furry Animals.

The more I listen to it the more I love it - listening it with earphones in you really appreciate the bouncy bass in it.

Loved it from the first moment. Missed the 8am play but caught up on the website. To me I hear essences of JDB Solo, The Future Has Been Here 4 Ever and Super Furries. I love the summery vibe of it. Not quite the shock of So Why So Sad I was expecting (Although I do love SWSS) I'm generally happy with what I've heard of the album so far!

Great "punch" for a comeback single proper I think, should raise a few eyebrows in the right direction and for me it makes a change by not having the signature electric guitar line. I do miss it, but I have a feeling I'll be content with "Futurology" or whatever it's going to be called!

Ooooooh, this is absolutely bloody fantastic! I really love it and have got it on constant loop right now. Whereas something like So Why So Sad was way, way too sugary sounding, this is just pitch perfect intelligent pop and insanely catchy.

I also really like the other new song we've heard so far but it's ruined a bit for me by the lack of Bradders on the main vocal. Hell, I love the Wire but I even think it's something of a huge waste when he pinches a vocal off of the Bradmeister, so I'm even less cool with someone outside MSP taking on main vocal duties!

Very excited for the yin and yang of these two new albums now and think they're both going to be perfect for different times and moods.

Nope, was just making the general point that even though Nicky is an actual 'Manic' I still think it's a waste not to have the mighty Bradfield pipes on any given tune.

I know the Hawley vocals were a stylistic choice, but still...

Fair enough - totally agree with that. Although I think Nicky did a fine job on William's Last Words, though!
