Well, you won't get much of a light show for the EMG set, will you?

If they're doing this arena tour, I don't know why they thought Swansea was ever necessary in the first place. They're still punching above their current commercial weight trying to sell out those arenas without adding a stadium show to them.

My preference would be to go Glasgow. Saturday night with a bunch of pissed Glaswegians and the first and last time they'll ever play that new venue.

Basically this was expected they just did the opposite with THB Tour, handful of dates then the CC

I get the feeling the Set List is 90% predictable

I can't see the dates selling out over Christmas but I am interested in the Echo Arena date.
Firstly, it'll be the first time I've ever seen a gig at that place, and secondly because I will be one of the first to hear their new material they'll be playing.
ONE OF THE FIRST! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA11!!!!

Pretty shocked tbh. These extra dates must be approx 65k extra tickets on sale now. Plus however many the Stadium holds? Bit optimistic if you ask me. I hope they work hard on this campaign outside of fb... they only have 285k fans on there

Shall try to get a ticket for Leeds. The last gig they did there was quite quite brilliant.

They will need to really hammer the promotion for this tour, needless to say I am chuffed to bits closer gigs are booked after initially sacking Swansea off.

Expect Dublin to be added.

Seems a bit annoying to announce Swansea at a different time - plus a weeks gap is also annoying for those of us who don't live in the uk. grrrr.

Can I just say how much it gets right on my goat that Belfast or Dublin always get announced a few weeks after the UK dates (of course Belfast is part of the UK but lets not go there lol).

Now I dont know whether to buy tickets for Glasgow in case Irish dates end up never being announced.

Grrrrr. My goat has right been got on!!

Nicky has boasted the Swansea show will be "Springsteen-esque*" in length...

(* Note: Wire translation version, "About 1 hour 40 minutes" )

Pleased about a Leeds date, I was only saying the other day I hoped they would play at the arena again. The RAH is a gorgeous venue too; I saw The Killers two nights in a row there in 2009 and it was brilliant. But erm yeah, putting tickets on sale so close to Christmas and after announcing Swansea wasn't the best idea ever.
