New Art Riot re-re-release

Someone mentioned in a previous topic that Damaged Goods had re-issued New Art Riot on CD (once again), well today i actually found a copy and it looks quite different:

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...Manics/nar.gif

the cover has no border and the sleeve is overall a lot darker. There is also a new DG logo added and this time there are no lyrics inside

The disc once again has the three reviews and doesn't any different to the previous edition

I bought a copy of this EP a few years ago, but I'm sure its not the same as this re-release. I just noticed that Nicky's name is spelled wrong on the sleeve! I wonder why only he gets to have a surname printed as well

I bought the New Art Riot EP last week when a friend found it in HMV. I thought it was a bit strange as I hadn't seen it around before!

I've seen one in Århus I am not sure if it is the new one, but I doubt it's the old, since they never had it before...

And it's really worth it: After labels in black/white, black/yellow, black/red, silver/orange, silver/green and silver/black (on the pink vinyl version), this new one has a BLUE/white label.
The only niggle is that the label is not absolutely identical to the other ones because there is the Damaged Goods web address printed onto it.
But still a strong buy recommendation!

*bump*

Ah, there'll probably be another release soon anyway it's been almost 5 years since the last one

Just wondered if anyone knows when the different pressings were released and roughly how many there are of each?

Gah, thought there had been another one, hehe.

Not sure about the CDS. did they release any more vinyl?

With CDS there's the original, the 1997?? re-release and the 2006 re-release I think. There's 7 or 8 vinyl pressings.

As far as I know it's been 3 cds and 7 vinyls? Commerically released anyway, I daren't even think about promos... Read the order they came in on loveof.tk, just no idea when anything happened besides the last cd and vinyl in 2006.

Man, back in my ye olde newbie Manics fan days I discovered a copy of the CD re-release in one random music shop. I thought I had hit some mega collectible jackpot, especially considering its cheap price. Had no idea they had re-released it in the first place.

The truth was sadly revealed back home the same day.

I remember seeing it in Andy's Records in Hull the same day they had a record fair at City Hall. Must've been about 2000... New Art Riot was £5.99 at Andy's Records, Life Becoming A Landslide cd was £8 at the record fair. Only had a tenner, went for New Art Riot thinking it must be rarer...

So yeah, the first review cd has been around at least 11 years...
