I think they give tickets away until right up to the festival.

I had a punt for tickets a little earlier-i am not the type that wins anything but its worth a go i guess.

No one got an email or anything after entering the Metro competition did they? Mine just went onto a page saying "Competition entered" and I closed it without reading properly.

I'm sure those tickets were allocated to Metro, so how is it missing out? Those tickets were never available to itunes people.

It's probably more likely that an allocation was given to the Metro by itunes prior to any tickets being given away, I think that they are one of the sponsors. There's nothing to stop you entering both competitions. I have.

The capacity of the Roundhouse is approx 3000 people, 200 tickets is only 5 -6 percent of that. The majority of the people going will be itunes winners.

My gut feeling is that people are ticking every box on the itunes website regardless of whether they particularly like a band or not, it's a bit like olympics tickets, you ask for more than you want in an attempt to get a few.

And the Metro rules state that if you have won, you'll be notified by 5pm tomorrow. Good luck everyone! You've got ten minutes to enter!
