I don't want to repeat myself, but I was aware the person may have been busy and was very delicate in my pursuit of the ticket.
My main bugbear was the fact they clearly wasn't to busy or ill to attend a gig and felt no shame in posting about how great it was to be there! We all lead busy lives and have plenty on our plates, but they had clearly been on here in the meantime so it wouldn't have taken long to say they had changed their mind.
That's as strong a complaint as I'm going to make! I don't want to look like the bad guy for moaning!

I felt it needed saying as it was a big let down for me especially as it seems the Brixton gigs were amongst the best of the tour
I can understand if you don't want to say. Whoever this person is could end up giving you a load of hassle you don't need for naming them on the forum. I'd just tell the mods who it was so at least they know.

Also, I was overly sympathetic as I was told that the seller was busy, so I didn't like to push harder, please appreciate I was in a difficult position!

inclined to agree. if they can fuck you over and find the time to post how great the gig was here, they can surely find the time to also hopefully explain why you got fucked over, or in a worst case just say "i am a shit, ha ha ha".

i say give a deadline for an apology and if that isn't met then name the fucker so no one knows not to deal with them.

Hasn't put me off buying tickets on here. I'd name and shame and/or hunt them down mercilessly until I got my money back if I got ripped off.
Hang on....
I think I have been extremely calm and dignified. So I either don't say anything and it happens again or I name and shame and come across as an arsehole?! I think I chose the right thing to do!
My main point being the fact that this busy, ill person attended a gig and wrote about it here!

beautiful distortion, you haven't done anything wrong don't let other people make you feel bad for their own fuck ups or by supporting their mates when they don't have a leg to stand on.

Yeah, there are let downs, but people usually do give tickets. Dext gave me the Newc ticket fine, within a day of it being sent.
