I hope that the sampler artwork isn't the final artwork as my God it is awful!

Why do the Manics need two models posing for a cover anyways? I like the idea of the angel/devil thing and the prostitute quote that Nicky used but c'mon!

Lets start a society asking "that Welsh artist" to draw them another album cover. Without the naughty swears this time!

Does anyone know how recent a photo that is then of the two girls? I find it interesting that it wasn't taken just for the Manics new album but was indeed already a photograph that they decided to use. I guess it's a few years old, but there's no way of telling I guess. I wonder if the two girls are aware of it being used and are happy? It gets them some fame I guess!

To use the photo, Sony/Hall or Nothing would have to have agreed certain copyright issues etc. The photographer/owner of the image copyrights would have (I assume) told the models, but whether they were happy about it or not probably had no real impact on it being used. The girls obviously agreed to having the image used in public when the photos were taken, so they might as well get as much exposure (no pun intended) from them as possible.

The proper cover (with the wide shot) is on Amazon. HMV used the promo cover, the amateurs.
