When I rip the b-sides from the singles, I give them the single's name and cd number as the b-sides' album name.

When I used MDs I'd just add the b-sides in order to the end of the album and I've loved doing that ever since as it seems to fit well. On my MP3 player, I've done playlists to order them in the same way, but I've only done a couple of them and need to do more, just calling them 'Know Your Enemy Era', etc.

I think mine are just labelled as Bsides - I lump them all together as with my iPod I won't usually switch to individual songs - I'm more likely to select an album or playlist within my MSP section and just listen until the list has finished.

Pre-Generation Terrorist demos (e.g., Razorblade Beat, Sunglass Aesthetic) I call Feminine Is Beautiful on the playlist on my phone.

Generation Terrorists b-sides (inc. Motown Junk) - Culture, Alienation, Boredom & Despair

No separate one for Gold Against The Soul - just whack them on the end

No separate one for Holy Bible - just whack them on the end

Everything Must Go - Sounds In The Grass

No separate one for This Is My Truth - just whack them on the end

Know Your Enemy - Know Our B-Sides

Lifeblood - merged the b-sides with There By The Grace Of and its b-sides and called the lot Litany

No separate one for Send Away The Tigers - just whacked on the end

Basically, if I know the album had a working title, that's what I call the playlist. Incidentally, the GT, EMG, KYE and LB b-sides make outstanding albums in their own rights.

I listen to b-sides a lot more than I do than albums, which I've usually done to death years ago.

I should really just put em all into one folder but I went and ripped everything through iTunes so it thinks I've got 78 Manics albums/singles. Bit messy.

i have the album names as the name of the single itself, with CD, CD1, CD2, 7'' Vinyl after it with all the correct artwork, it's a bit of a pain doing, but then i've done a playlist with them all in chronological order, the only dilemma is whether to include the actual lead track off the single, especially if its no different to the album version...

I just call mine 'Manics B-Sides', after reading this thread I feel like I should come up with a more inventive name.

I've tried to think what TBTGOG stands for, but I've come up quite short. Enlighten me, Oh Franny One.
