Probably scams, I wouldn't touch them until someone has confirmed it on here first.

Heard it today. Quite frankly it is stunning. A few minor quibbles. Running Away With Fantasy is weak from beginning to end. It sounds like a sub bar b-side. This Sullen Welsh heart is up there with 1985 for gorgeous openers. A beautiful vocal from James and Lucy, very tender but they compliment each other well. Manorbier is lovely but would benefit from a vocal. 3 ways to see despair is awesome with a FUCKING great vocal from James. The best track by a country mile is 30 Year War. My god it is fucking breathtaking. Imagine hearing Tolerate for the very first time but add in the sonics of Motorcycle Emptiness with the spit in your face and piss on your chips lyrics of THB. I never thought the band could write an important song again but 30YW is that song. After this album I'd like to know what the fuck the band were doing with SATT and Postcards. This is not just a good album but one of the Great Manics albums.

The album isn't really all that acoustic. There is a lot of electronics going on, some electric guitar. It's a mature album, the lyrics are great but it all feels genuine too. No agenda or boxes to tick. I will do a track by track review once I get a copy for the night. For now, prepare to be moved, surprised and excited.

Only 2 weak tracks in RWF and As Holy As The Soil.

Tokyo Skyline is mesmerising and moved me a lot.

I heard it twice today through a friend with the promo. Said friend works in the industry as an engineer.

Damn, lucky you!! Someone's gotta leak it one of these days. I can't wait until mid-September to hear it

There's only so many times that I can listen to Show Me The Wonder (and bounce along to it....)

It's worth the wait. I had an opportunity today that I desperately wanted to turn down but I caved. I genuinely think this is going to elevate the manics like EMG did. There are some wonderfully quirky elements to some songs but nothing sounds cheap. It's musically upbeat mostly. I think Rewind The Film is probably the dullest track musically but the weakest track for me is running away with fantasy.

Four Lonely Roads is decent. The cat le bon vocal and Nicky backing is good but I wanted James to sing it. It sounds very much like a Beatles track but it also reminds of a Zeitgiest track.

High five brother. Once it leaks I think I'm just going to avoid the Manics Discussions for a while.
