hey everyone! im new here, well not really ive scoured this forum for some years, but never posted. anyways im headed to the toronto gig (never thought id be able to say "im going to a manic street preachers gig lol) and was wondering if there was an opening band or not? have they had anyone on tour with them yet?

Hi Thecanuck (nice name!)! Yeah, they do have an opening band - they're called Bear Hands apparently. Hope that helps!
Have fun at the Toronto gig...maybe I'll catch you there.

Not too far to travel then...3/4 hours, not bad! Have a safe trip down! Btw, the Manics will be on Q with Jian Ghomeshi on Monday October 5th so don't forget to tune in for that one!

ahh yes the hip. i might be the only one from kingston who doesnt think they are the best band ever! i like their early stuff, but they dont really do anything for me. 2.5 hours drive. heading down on saturday to visit my gf's relatives and some shopping maybe then sunday is manics day!! i dont think shes nearly as excited as me but shes looking forward to it. only down part is i have to leave at 4:30 am the next day to get to work!
