Gold Cup is near the Apollo on Stockport Road. Dunno how long it'd take to walk it, but it's good as far as shitholes go. To be fair, knowing Kro's prices, I'd need some pre-drinks.

FMB is probably easiest as it's on the main bus route, so anyone who isn't familiar with Manchester should be abe to find it easy enough. It's also pretty close to Kro. Plus, it's a 'spoons, ergo it's cheap and most people will find something they like to drink there...

I've never been to the Gold Cup, you sure it's Oxford Road??

Well, if you like unwelcoming shitholes with cheap booze and Journal on the jukebox, get yourself there! First time I went, barman had a black eye, but came and thanked us for coming. Got a round in for under a fiver too, which is always good.
