It's great live. He sounded especially angry during the performance of that on the 10th, especially with Nicky shouting 'eins, zwei, drei, vier' into 'NO BIRDS!' Just amazing.

Numbers, numbers
The sky has swallowed black
Numbers, numbers
Holy mass of don't accept

Well, that's what I thought it was until last night.

One day I'll read the lyrics.

One of the best Manics gigs I've seen in 19 years of following them around (I even found an old ticket from Cardiff 2002 in my army jacket pocket - showing how long ago it must've last been worn). Amazing. The setlist, crowd, energy, band, venue - everything was spot on. I had enjoyed the night before but this something else entirely. I hope all the crowd casualties are ok - surfers and fainters.

One of my favourite part was the lighting during Intense Humming. The view I had from James' side was of him shadowed against the weird foggy, yellow city night sky through the chapel window. Was really something special.

Bring on it on Roundhouse!

Stunning. That was such a good venue to play The Holy Bible in.
(Plus the bonus of it being next to a Brewdog!)

The gig last night was an absolute joy, the Holy Bible set was intense, electric, tight and JDB's playing was absolutely brilliant. The crowd was incredible too, everyone in the pit was full of beans, i've never seen so much crowd surfing at a manics gig and i don't mind the odd boot in the head as i think it was a reflection about how excited everyone was. Singing back Design for Life is always a really nice moment but last night everyone sang it from the bottom of their lungs, it's brilliant to look around and see so many people taking pride in their class, it's really brings everyone together like some sort of act of class solidarity and there's fewer better moments in life when it's like that.

The unofficial after party at the Retro bar was great fun too, i never thought i'd ever get to hear Patrick Bateman on a night out so fair play to the djs.

Is anybody getting any decent stealth recordings of these shows?? I need to hear one. Hopefully there's an offical release somewhere down the road, but they don't seem to release too many full shows.

Love watching all the youtubes, and I know it's not soundboard quality or anything but does Nicky's bass seem to be low in the mix? I would really like to hear a full audio to listen better.
