By jove, I returned home to the album, plus a few gig tickets and an Alice in Chains album. I'm slouching for the rest of the day.

So... what's that about a children's choir? Which demo are they on?

What the hell! It's great! Why'd they pussy out on it? They've done it twice now.
Matter of fact... now that I think of it, I've done that myself as well. Everything was set, the choir was practicing and I did not show up. I thought it's gonne be embarrassing, let's rather not. |

Only heard SMTW and 30 Yw demos. How are the others? Any lyrical changes?

As said, 4 Ways is very good. And Anthem For a Lost Cause as well. I think the production just ruins it on disc. It's just too much. Too cheesy. Can't fucking take it. And I can take Show Me the Wonder, mind you. Reminds me of PFAYM too much. But on the demo it is clear and nice and the melody really shines through.

Builder originally has the line "Unreality now has the appeal".
At least they didn't leave "You have settles left to score" in 30YW. |

I much prefer the intro (or lack of) on TSWH, and 'fucking disease' is a much better line in the context .Saying that though I wouldn't swap those changes for removing the duet vocals, really highlights how well that works on the record.
The repeat of the brass intro in the chorus of 30-Year War gives it so much more punch. If it wasn't so stop start that would be the definitive version for me. Last edited by Glyn; 14-09-2013 at 19:31. |

Jeezy chreezy, that children's choir is something else. It's a bit over-done in the demo though. Would have been a nice way to finish the song only.
