According to the Festival No. 6 site, there is a shuttle bus! I've got to get from Criccieth to Portmerion, it's nearer to than Bangor but apparently that has no bearing on ease of transport. There seems to be TWO TRAINS A DAY to somewhere vaguely near Portmerion, but not Portmerion itself. Ho hum.

I keep checking that! Last I saw they were advising me to buy tickets in advance without telling me how to.

They seem a bit too relaxed about this whole 'organising' thing...

I couldn't be less relaxed, spent the last month stressing about it!

Is that Minffordd? Went to the festival last year and got the train to Minffordd going and then went back on the Bangor bus. It's only about a mile pretty much straight line walk from the station to the site. Alternatively, some friends stayed in the Porthmadog travelodge and they used the festival park & ride from there everyday, not sure if they had to pay to park but it seemed to work fine.

Indeed! Oooh, thanks for that, I'll have a look into it (are you allowed to ride if you haven't parked? <_<)

I'm pretty certain that's where we're staying and we're using the park and ride. You do have to pay for the park and ride; we pre-booked online: http://www.seetickets.com/event/fest...meirion/670605

Not sure if you strictly have to pre-book though.

I intend to listen to the leak of each song as it becomes available, in a darkened room alone! I find the process of listening to new music from my favourite bands very hard (but ultimately rewarding) and waiting to the release day doesn't help that process a jot.

Cheers for the link. Probably not worth me paying Ł16 (presumably plus more fees?) when I still have to get to and from Porthmadog anyway. And I'm not even parking. Hrm hrm. I can get TO Minffordd okay, it's just getting from there to the festival. Then getting back to Criccieth... think amma just have to taxi it back. IF I CAN GET A TAXI. Why is everything so difficult ;____;

I'm over the whole leak thing now, if it is an artist that I love I am now quite prepared to wait. A few years back absolutley no chance, but now.. I don't know, it just feels wrong, it takes something away from the whole experience. Then again maybe it's just me!
