No Surface all Feeling vs No Suprises

Both have pretty similar intro's
Both Start with 'No Su'

So, No Surface all Felling by the Manics, or Radiohead's No Suprises

I had to pick No Surprises. Whenever I go through dark times (like recently which was a reason I was staying away from the Manics) this is usually my anthem.

I vote No Surrender - Bruce Springsteen. Never heard of No Suprises but imagine it's a paean to the humble spell check.

Can't compare those two. And although I love No Surface I had to vote for No Surprises. One of the greatest songs of the 90s.

Haha!

Well, seeing as this is a Manics board, did you really think there would be much competition between the two VASTLY different songs? LOL!

No Surface is one of my favourite Manics tunes, but honestly, I don't think it should come as a surprise to anyone that I'm a devout Radiohead enthusiast (after The Beatles, they are my favourite band) so 'No Su(r)prises' is the far superior tune. I highly doubt on this forum many would agree, but whatever! No Surface is still a kick-ass tune though.

I thought that's a really weird base for a comparison.

It was totally an easy choice.. you can ask me why

1. I really don't like Radiohead. I want to kill myself every time I hear a song by them
2. No Surface All Feeling is one of the most special Manics songs for me

easy choice, I do not like Radiohead at all. They're soooooooo overhyped and seem full of themselves in an art-school-kid kind of way.
