may I share it here? the thing is, Patrick's twitter is public but it felt bad to post this in the Manics part of the forum.

(to the mods - feel free to move this thread to any area you consider fair. you can delete it as well. we all feel bad about violating their privacy and I thought the picture of Nicky's mum as a little girl might sound outrageous on this board, so i decided to put it in this part of the forum)

It's not really relevant to this part of the forum. you could put it in appreciation, if you want? It's public so I don't see why it can't go in MD or culture though.

because we all got mad a bit with Baby Bradders news and I thought some would feel it's inappriopriate. I once posted pictures of Patrick's kids - photo was from a NEWSPAPER and I was slagged off for being to offensive in their lives. or someone said the Bradfields move back to Wales because he or she read on a website. don't you know the forum, Tim?

so I dunno, Appreciation sounds alright, it's only FD members area, isn't it? but with no posts limit? I mean, unlogged Sean can't visit it, aye?

What patrick chooses to share publically on websites or on twitter is completely different to posting about his family or james' family though.

Patrick's mother has been in local newspapers campaigning for something or other and she's also written a book..so she's already *out there* I don't see what the problem about posting this picture could be. Especially as patrick's twitter page is public

Cheers Deets - It's a lovely photo and comment...Meganslastwords: Darkness is where the stars are is another wonderful collection. All his stuff is thought provoking I think he's an amazing poet: I love treelunged and valley comprehensive. Wish he's do some poetry sessions in England.

I don't see anything wrong with posting this. Patrick's Twitter account isn't closed, and Irene herself is an author and campaigner. An already public picture of Nicky's brother holding a photo of their mum is hardly an invasion of privacy, especially as Patrick chose to tweet it. Nicky and Patrick are instinctive publicists, they know how Twitter works.

I think it would be better in the public part of the forum. That way, she'd have the chance to know about it; and if she did want to object she could.

Why is he a bit of an arse? I don't know much about him except that he's Nicky's brother and a poet.
