Yeah, this is what worries me somewhat about their perspective of PFAYM. I find it highly amusing at gigs when James makes digs at Lifeblood tracks being an optimum time to visit the bar, when there are songs from Postcards on the same setlist.

In light of the above, er most definitely ranked as my least favourite Manics album

From all the albums its :
1. The Holy Bible
2. This Is My Truth, Tell Me Yours
3. Lifeblood
4. Journal For Plague Lovers
5. The Great Western
6. Everything Must Go
7. I Killed The Zeitgeist
8 Generation Terrorists
9. Gold Against The Soul
10. Know Your Enemy
11. Postcards From A Young Man
12. Send Away The Tigers

Really no idea where they're getting the "People don't like Lifeblood" idea from. Not only do the majority of us seem to like it but it sold pretty well, had two charting singles and decent reviews - as good as Postcards actually, while being the superior pop album too. Pet hate here too, but if the Manics of Lifeblood had interesting guests like Cale and McCulloch on their album they wouldn't have buried their performances in Now! That's What I Call Classic Rock (TM) arrangements. Postcards is still miles better than Send Away The Tigers, though. It's not THAT bad an album, just frustratingly not as good as it could be, where Send Away The Tigers just gets on my nerves.

It's one of my favourites. Probably their best since Holy Bible in my wee opinion.
I'd take the er wee break during Know Your Enemy
