How do HMV signings usually work now? In the past I've had to turn up early to buy the CD/get a wristband and then go back later.

When i've been to Cardiff HMV signings before there were no wristbands involved. it was just a case of turn up, buy your product and then line up outside. Probably changed since last year though. x

Yep there was no wristband at the HMV signing I went to either, but I guess it depends on the event.

I asked at the Manchester HMV earlier. They said to get wristbands in the morning of the signing, one per person, first come first served. However, they also said to ask a few days in advance to double check. I'll be there, queuing early.

As so that's pretty much confirmed then, guess I'll get the day booked off. Dunno if I can be arsed to spend all day standing on Market Street though
