Possible second album
But is it?...

IKTZ was forged from a break between albums/tours, don't forget.

Just for the sake of speculation... does anyone think this still might happen at some point? He's hinted at it on twitter, and that just seems too random to bring up unless he was actually considering it. Then again, it's Nicky.

Not really - he was talking about James's inability to sing just before they were due to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.

I'd welcome one though, think Nick's songwriting's come on loads since Zeitgeist.

i'm quite optimistic about the next year's break, this would mean ANOTHER solo album from Nicky and THIS would mean A POSSIBLE TOUR!!

A Nicky Wire solo tour would more than make up for the fact that I'm probably not going to be seeing them this year

Just relistened to IKTZ after listening to EWYS - really hope a second album comes out, I'm liking his stuff more and more. Genius.

Indeed. I have a playlist of all the Manics tracks Nicky does lead or audible backing vocals on, aah. I must have MOAR. Especially being that "Engage With Your Shadow" is a real, er. . .gem.

I'd like a new Nicky one, but I'd LOVE a new James one.

I'd love a second album by Nicky, guess we can hope. If anyone gets the chance ask him on the May tour.

A new Nick album would be really interesting. But James would really have to raise his game - ideally focus on the more ambitious side of his album rather than the bland side.

James's album could be a typical Manics album without a 'politcal' side in lyrics, but I think Nicky got more experience writing his album and it was more creative than TGW. and it's pink, included Nicky's and Richey's pictures and quotes by Robert Frost, you must love it!
