Or they could (like most people except thumping 'cultural commentators') have a more subtle view. I know Wire doesn't do subtle in interviews, but I'm sure even the typewriting luddite can appreciate the 'internet' and 'pop' are sprawling beasts open for use and abuse rather than good and evil.

That would be amazing. But only if Nicky's refrain was kept in.

I was thinking that too. Very apt! I'd also like to have Nicky's refrain kept in - it's what I think about Claudia wotsherface.

I've submitted my question for Thursday, although, in light of tonight being cancelled, I am beginning to wonder if Thursday will be cancelled too.

I'm thinking the same. I think it's likely it will be cancelled.

Especially as the re-scheduled Birmingham gig was cancelled on a Tuesday and the re-scheduled Brixton gigs were originally on a Thursday and Friday. I wouldn't be surprised if Blackwood does get cancelled, which would be a shame, considering the prestiege surrounding the occasion.

It's more likely they've cancelled the Rock Cafe gig so he can recover in time for Blackwood surely? Considering the time and resources the BBC are putting in, I mean.
