Can't Wait

Really looking forward to this one now as my next fix after the Arena shows, Swansea and then heavenly Eden. Something to look forward to or August bank holi. It will be weird though not having to get in a queue dead early. Really hope there is a good crowd for them.

Pretty generic setlisting.

I love how they put the more interesting set list alternatives on there just to tease us....

I'd be happy with that set list if I was a festival goer. It's more or less a greatest hits set with a few hangovers from the last tour.

In fact, I'd probably be happy with that set list if it was my first time seeing them as a fan, though I'd probably be more lost in the excitement of actually seeing them live.

I thought it was a great end to their UK shows for this year! Nice to hear Masses and FTS back in the set again. The day was a bit of a test though - had to stand through a lot of drivel on that main stage, and the humidity too!

An amazing gig by the Manics on Saturday. I thought the setlist was very good. A mix of the hits for the casual fans and some more rare tracks like No Surface, Ocean Spray and Found that Soul. And to be fair after the last few tours with THB and EMG in full and tracks like Donkeys, Condemned to Rock N Roll, Golden Platitudes etc... we shouldn't really complain haha.

Thought the crowd was very good for the guys as well, especially near where I was standing. There were some other very good acts over weekend such as Jack Savoretti, Noel Gallagher and Travis but the Manics were by far the best. A great gig to end the year.

I really enjoyed it. Setlist was what I expected for a festival, no complaints from me! Also crowd were good. Out of the 3 gigs I've been to this year, I think I ended up enjoying this the most.

Agree. It's obviously so different seeing them in a festival environment rather than playing to their own crowd. A long day, lacking in the camaradery and bonne hommie we usually share in a Manics queue. Amazing as always to see them though.

Here's to whatever 2017 brings.
