Best Manics Bassline
Best Manics bassline? I haven't put 'Nicky's best bassline' as I would instantly get people going "JAMSS PLEYD BAS ON [insert song title here]" It would be nice to know what people think, as normally the bass is doing mostly root notes in Manics songs. Sorry if I haven't included your favourite bassline.

Great call!
I'd also nominate the bass lines on Tolerate. |

My favourite might actually be Nicky's bass work on "Journal For Plague Lovers". There's some lovely flourishes on that one.

wire said that on EMG he felt like he could play bass for the first time, but while solid, its still rhythmically simple root note driven. On Lifeblood is when he really come into his own with beautiful lines interweaving with the assorted keys and guitar flourishes on the album

I've voted "Other" - but I was actually going for Dreaming A City. I hate that subtitle, so refused to vote for it under that name!
