Yeah unfortunately having already inflicted such dire drivel as U2 and Westlife on the world, we now boast the Script.

This doesn't bother my love of the band in anyway, i don't like the manics because they are or once were popular

I'm currently listening to 65daysofstatic, which peaked at #99 in the album charts and its a great album

So annoyed like everyone else. I know it shouldn't bother me but just reminds me that the UK can have shockingly bland taste sometimes. I blame Supermarket Mum's lol!
Also, frustrating that they have been number 1 all week and then have it snatched away from there. To be fair they currently do not have the same support an promotion that the other 2 have had over the past week or so!

Piss poor promotion YET AGAIN.

I imagine they probably get daily updates if they want them so can share the info with everyone as soon as they know. Yeah there are still a few hrs until the official announcement but i doubt the sales in that time are going to make a difference to the final outcome.

I know a few people have said their radio play has been good but i can hand on heart say I have not seen anything Manics related on the TV or radio since their comeback for this album (apart from the TV prog on Wednesday which probably only about 2 people saw considering it's timeslot).
So if a big fan has not seen the manics anywhere you can't expect many others to of on the same level as Collins and Script have been in your face.
